SC3T is an active tri-amp subwoofer with amplifier outlets for passive tops
containing 3800 W amplification and DSP processing for a complete stereo Sub / Sat system.

The electronic: integrates one 2400 W high efficiency class D amplifier for the low frequency and 2 x 700 W class D amplifiers for the top cabinets. The integrated comparator is an analogue electronic circuit loop that measures the voice coil excursion of the SC3T subwoofer and corrects the signal, significantly decreasing distortion. The advanced DSP processor included provides a perfect match between amplifiers and loudspeakers for optimum acoustic output and reliability.

The SC3T is equipped with extremely long excursion 18” neodymium ultra low distortion woofer with integrated velocity sensor that measure, compares and controls cone movements. The neodymium motor delivers extreme high magnetic flux for increased efficiency. The 4” voice coil is 50 mm high, ensuring ultra linear excursion of 40 mm / pp at consistent magnetic force. State of the art carbon-fiber cone ensure maximum stiffness and low moving mass. Three aluminum shorting rings reduce inter-modulation distortion; minimize induction variation while reducing thermal compression. This design reduces dramatically the distortion of a typical subwoofer at longer excursion levels, and improves the overall sound quality and performance characteristics of the cabinet. The sensor is in fact an additional voice coil connected to the loudspeakers voice coil in a high precision, magnetically shielded system.

System integration: Optimized to work together with the G300-, G500- and G700-Series and the D-Series full range passive cabinets and the LA4 line array system, the SC3T active subwoofer can be connected to diverse mid-high loudspeakers for different applications to build a complete stereo Sub/Sat system. An integrated speaker output enables you to drive an additional passive subwoofer (SC3S) increasing the system's low frequency output with 6 dB without the need of multiple 19" audio gear and external racks.

Applications: Used in a wide variety of configurations they provide a compact and economical plug and play solution for bands, small touring PA-systems, mobile DJ's or permanent installations.
The SC3T subwoofer is perfectly suited as a sub-extension and amplification for LA4 and the G300-, G500- and G700-Series as well as the D-Series in Houses of Worship, Theatres and clubs.
